Bertha or Saint Aldeberge (c. 565 [1] – d. in or after 601) was the queen of Kent whose influence led to the Christianization of Anglo-Saxon England. She was made a saint for her role in its establishment during that period of English history.

I created Bertha in time period costume and she has hand painted face along with a leather covered book in hand. She is crafted from wood, wire, clay, paint, fiber, and fabric- she is a tiny and collectible 4 1/2 " tall (11.4 cm).
