Boudica Historical Art Doll
While many may not have heard of her, Boudica of the Iceni was a true warrior queen. In the years of AD 60-61, she inspired and was the leader the largest revolt against Roman rule in Britain. While many details of her life are sparse or sketchy, she is still celebrated as someone who stood up against foreign oppression.
For the history fan, I created this special historical character in a plaid green and blue gown with draping green velvet cloak. The ensemble sports a leather sash with battle sword, and her tousled hair with crown finish her look.
Boudicca stands a mere 4 1/2 inches tall (11.4 centimeters) and is specially created out of wood, wire, clay, and paint.
(A must have for the history buff or your historic heroines collection!)
