Herbert von Karajan (1908 – 1989) was main conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic for 35 years. He is also regarded as one of the greatest conductors of the 20th century and was a dominant figure in European classical music from the mid-1950s until his death.
A must for the lover of great orchestra music, little Herbert is ready to practice conducting in black pants and black turtleneck. Finishing details are his real fiber hair, hand painted face, and conductor wand in hand.
Herber is specially created from wood, wire, clay, paint, fiber, and fabric- he stands a tiny 4 1/2 " tall (11.4 cm)
