Jules Verne, 1828-1905, was a French author who helped begin the science-fiction genre. He best known for his novels, A Journey to the Centre of the Earth, From the Earth to the Moon , Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Around the World in Eighty Days , and The Mysterious Island.
Little Jules is crafted in a three piece black suit with white shirt and neck tie. He has a hand painted face, real fiber hair and beard, and for whimsical fun, he carries a miniature book of one of his best known novels and a vintage diving helmet. He stands a wee 4 1/2 inches tall (11.4 centimeters).
My characters are uniquely created from wood, wire, clay, and paint.
