Florine Stettheimer (1871 – 1944) was an American painter, designer, Jazz Age saloniste and poet.
Along with her sisters, she hosted a salon for modernists in Manhattan, which included Marcel Duchamp, Henry McBride, Carl Van Vechten and Georgia O'Keeffe. She confined most exhibitions of her own work to these gatherings, occasionally submitting work to the Society of Independent Artists.
My one of a kind artist diorama features a handmade miniature of Florine on a handpainted circular base along with easel and one of her many works on display. Florine is crafted from wood, wire, clay, paint, fiber, and fabric and wears a costume of white skirt with smock blouse with black accents. Character is a tiny 4 1/2 " tall (11.4cm) and base is 6" in circumference (15 cm).
