This diorama scene is truly one of kind! I created Charles in a dapper black suit -complete with trousers, long coat, white shirt. Additional details are an oil lamp, feathered ink well, another of his novels, and a porcelain pitcher with flowers on the top of his desk. Charles also has a hand painted face, real fiber hair and beard, and a tapestry rug beneath his real wood desk along with a feline friend for company ! He is uniquely created from wood, wire, paint , and clay and sits at 4 1/2 inches tall (11.4 cm). The floor base of this literary scene is an approximate 4" x 6" in size (10 cm x 15 cm)

Charles Dickens, born 1812, was the most popular English novelist in the Victorian era, and one of the most popular of all time, responsible for some of English literature's most known characters, such as Oliver Twist, Mrs, Haversham, Pip from Great Expectations, and Ebenezer Scrooge- just to name a few!

This little collectible doll is a must for the literary classics fan- Charles sits poised to write at his desk in dapper suit and shirt with rug beneath his feet and feline friend nearby. and sits at a tiny 4 1/2 inches tall, (11.4 centimeters). I create my dolls from wood, wire, clay, and paint.
